This year I was looking forward to my summer associate. The sept was covering family fierceness, which is a topic that I always had a strong interest in. This class was assorted from all the disjoint classes Ive ever taken at IUN. With the cooperate of our professor, we were confidence the opportunity to work with distinguishable organizations that supported, sheltered, or rescued victims of municipal and family violence. He wanted us to father involved with different people who had been affected by domestic help violence to perplexity us better understand the topic of the class. The class had a variety of different organizations to choose from. Upon those choices was volunteering for Lake County Courts Department. My job was to help take on out certificate gilds. On each of my paper bags I was to help those individuals who came in to the office asking for protection orders. existence an advocate, I was fit to interact with them and help them wi th any questions they had. either shift was different. Sometimes there would be matchless somebody to help, and many other days there would be triad or four. individually individual who came in was female. to each one of them was different. Some mat cozy talking to me while others didnt care to talk to me at all. I was able to listen some of the womens stories. Each story that I comprehend was disturbing.

Being a woman myself, I was able to tint to their emotions and help them.
